JOB SUMMARY:
- Insulators will be responsible for installing insulation on pipes and ducts.
- Insulator Duties and Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and determine where insulation is needed
- Cut insulation to the correct size
- Install insulation in walls, around pipes, and in air ducts
- Inspect your work for gaps or other issues
- Repair or replace insulation in existing buildings
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 4 years of recent verifiable experience with insulating ducts and pipes.
- Must have hand tools for insulating.
- Must have experience with fiberglass pipe, aluminum jacketing, blanket duct wrap, and duct board insulation.
