VP of Mortgage Operations
The ideal candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of recent verifiable experience managing end-to-end mortgage loan processing.
VP of Mortgage Operations Primary Responsibilities :
Meet with internal stakeholders, including Management, Loan Officers, Loan Processors, and Compliance Officers, to resolve complex underwriting issues.
Develop and implement mortgage policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
Collaborate closely with Regional and District Sales Managers to address outstanding loan conditions and ensure timely processing of loan files.
Meeting customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Analyze various ways to improve the mortgage lending process.
Lead a team of loan processors and underwriters.
Serve as the company's QI.
Provide training, guidance, and support.
Provide leadership and advice to division staff regarding underwriting risks.
Ensure loans are processed promptly.
VP of Mortgage Operations Requirements :
7-10 years of experience in the mortgage loan industry.
At least 5 years of recent experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of all aspects of the mortgage industry.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Must be proficient with PC applications.
A bachelor's degree in finance or business or equivalent years of management / supervisory experience is required.
