Are you passionate about gymnastics and dedicated to fostering young athletes' growth? We are seeking a dynamic and organized Gymnastics Director and Coach to join our thriving gymnastics program. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a dual role that combines coaching with program coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination Duties:
- Manage administrative tasks related to team operations, including athlete registration, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Act as the primary point of contact for athletes, parents, and coaching staff, facilitating effective communication.
- Organize team events, competitions, and fundraisers, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
- Assist in budget management and fundraising initiatives to support the gymnastics program.
- Off season ranges from 10-15hrs per week; during competition season hours range from 10-20hrs for meets. Ability to travel for meets is required.
Coaching Duties:
- Develop and implement training programs for gymnasts of all skill levels, focusing on skill development, strength, and flexibility.
- Teach gymnastics techniques across various apparatus, including floor, vault, beam, and bars.
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes during practices and competitions to enhance their performance.
- Attend competitions to coach and support athletes, fostering a positive competitive experience. Ability to travel for meets is required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or related sports coaching is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years coaching experience in gymnastics.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with scheduling software.
- Ability to demonstrate gymnastics skills and techniques.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
