Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging lesson plans, implementing age-appropriate activities, and fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote early childhood development
- Provide a variety of learning experiences through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive activities
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children feel comfortable to explore, learn, and express themselves
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing additional support when needed
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials for daily activities Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting - Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children Skills:
- Literacy education: Proficient in teaching literacy skills such as reading, writing, and language development
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting
- Lesson planning: Ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational objectives
- Physical education: Knowledge of physical activities that promote gross motor skills development in young children
- Tutoring: Ability to provide one-on-one support to students who may need additional assistance
- Childhood development: Understanding of the stages of childhood development and how to support growth in each area
- Child welfare: Knowledge of child safety and well-being practices - Childcare: Familiarity with childcare regulations and best practices
- Special education: Awareness of strategies and accommodations for children with special needs
