What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Officer / Closing Coordinator position at Perpetual Title?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tasks and duties associated with settlement operations and real estate closings. Candidate should have the ability to work independently and have an in-depth knowledge of title insurance and closing procedures.
Duties to include:
1. Take proactive approach to providing status updates to clients/loan officers/ real estate agents
2. Prepare closing documents
3. Balance figures and closing funds; prepare file for distribution
4. Verify and review all information is accurate in file prior to closing
5. Guide and reviews the work of the escrow assistant
6. Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, clients and referral partners
7. Maintain compliance with Perpetual Title policies and procedures
8. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure title transactions process efficiently
Qualifications
1. Ohio and/or Kentucky Notary / RON notary a plus
2. In-depth knowledge of title insurance
3. Strong attention to detail
4. Ability to act independently
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Confidence working with technologies (i.e. Microsoft office suite, google suite, closing platforms, RON)

10. Minimum 2-3 years title insurance experience
