Description Overview
The successful candidate will be involved in production scheduling for our packaging plants in Allegan, MI. This is a partially remote role, requiring some onsite work at our Allegan locations. In this role you will ensure production schedules are prepared to balance the desired demand against capacity limitations, making sure internal partners, suppliers, and operations, are informed, and involved with any delays, challenges, or opportunities. Using SAP, this person will release schedules to run 48 hours in advance of production, ensuring components are available and inhouse. Additionally, you will troubleshoot situations where shortages occur or schedules adjust, providing updates and options.
This role requires data skillsets to run scheduling, reporting, metrics, etc. and occasionally offering findings and support recommendations. If you have a talent to manage the many moving parts of production scheduling, reporting, and data analysis, this may be the perfect role for you!

Experience Required
- Preferred BS degree and/or related work experience
- 3 – 5 yrs. experience in operations, production, and/or related scheduling
- Experience working with SAP & Microsoft tools, including Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to offer actionable options with expertise in identifying, defining, and executing alternate plans
- Strong communication skills, with demonstrated skills working collaboratively
