Job Description
We are currently seeking to direct hire Packaging employees on 3rd shift at Step 2 or higher in the Pay for Experience Program as a Packaging Specialist.
This role involves working on an assembly line packaging over the counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals. Our environment is dynamic, and we look for the same in new team members.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Following written instructions contained in Standard Operating Procedures, manufacturing orders, cleaning checklists, and other controlled documents in accordance with cGMP regulations.
- Physically moving bulk materials utilizing various forms of pallet jacks, performing basic material handling, and departmental utility tasks.
- Operating computer-controlled equipment utilizing a screen-based Operator Interface Terminal (OIT).
- Executing in-process attribute testing and visual inspections.
- Evaluating test results against prescribed parameters to determine if tested product is within specification.
- Accurately documenting GMP data on equipment logs, batch records, and cleaning checklists.
- Executing equipment and line cleaning tasks utilizing manual and automated processes and prescribed cleaning checklists.
- Performing minor equipment servicing activities including disassembly, reassembly, and set-up.
To apply for this role, you must have a High School diploma (or G.E.D.), basic math and English communication skills, and legible penmanship. You should also be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and possess a working knowledge of computers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attendance record and work history. Previous experience in direct manufacturing or general manufacturing is highly preferred.
