We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our 3rd shift team as a Packaging Specialist at Perrigo Michigan.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for packaging over-the-counter pharmaceuticals. As a Packaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and meeting customer demands.
Your primary responsibilities will include following written instructions, operating computer-controlled equipment, performing in-process attribute testing, and documenting GMP data. You will also be responsible for executing equipment and line cleaning tasks and performing minor equipment servicing activities.
To succeed in this role, you must have basic math and English communication skills, legible penmanship, and a high level of reading comprehension. You should also be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and possess a working knowledge of computers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attendance record and work history. Previous experience in direct manufacturing or general manufacturing is highly preferred.
