Job Overview:
Perrigo Michigan is seeking a skilled Packaging Specialist to join our team on 2nd shift. As a member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality products are produced and packaged for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing orders to ensure accurate and efficient packaging processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to cGMP regulations and company standards.
- Operate computer-controlled equipment, utilizing a screen-based Operator Interface Terminal (OIT), to execute in-process attribute testing and visual inspections.
- Evaluate test results against prescribed parameters, determining if tested product meets specifications.
Requirements:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and English communication skills, with legible penmanship and high reading comprehension.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions, as well as maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- A working knowledge of computers and ability to operate OIT systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent attendance record and work history.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- 6 months to 1 year of direct manufacturing experience, with a strong background in packaging and processing.
