Description Overview
Responsible for planning, scheduling, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to bring a world class Asset Reliability and Maintenance performance and capability to the production, facility, and Maintenance organization at PMH.
Scope of the Role
- Planning jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
- Creating and updating job plans to ensure an accurate job library.
- Direct the workflow for work orders and preventive maintenance on production and facilities equipment at the site. Provides instructions to technicians and contractors to ensure that SOPs and safety standards are followed. Directs technicians and contractors to ensure that preventive maintenance and work orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain the backlog of maintenance tasks to be completed. Coordinates with the operations and maintenance teams to identify, prioritize, and schedule tasks to maximize schedule attainment and minimize impact to production.
- Tracks work orders so they are effectively resolved. Works with the reliability and operations teams to identify and address troubled equipment.
- Works with facilities, engineering and operations personnel on capital projects, and assists in developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans, spare part inventories, training, and drawings.
- Assists with validation or quality concerns.
- Order and kit parts needed for planned repairs.
Experience Required
- Excellent communication, organizational, root cause investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, proven accuracy, and strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED with demonstrated progress towards an associate or bachelor’s degree, computer literacy and knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Having a recognized trade by the Department of Labor in a related field and experience in scoping, planning and cost management also preferred.
- 5 Years of experience in operations / manufacturing environment, with preference given to FDA regulated / GMP environment and previous experience with maintenance.
