Position Overview:
Relationships with our tradesmen and women, vendors, and design teams are a critical part of our success; some spanning over 40 years in business together. We operate at a concierge-level of service for our clientele with a reputation for an unwavering commitment to quality and trust. We build relationships with our clients that last generations. We are looking for an experienced residential construction project manager/estimator that will personify our company’s philosophy, is extremely thorough, organized, and shares the same passion for excellence as we do. Our ideal candidate is a multi-dimensional thinker with a can-do attitude and a strong background in procurement, vendor management, knowledge of construction materials and state-of-the-art resources.
Responsibilities:
· Develop a thorough understanding of projects to create accurate and organized cost estimates.
· Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project schedule and budgetary requirements.
· Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms for materials and services.
· Maintain existing and develop new relationships with sub-contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
· Forecast material needs and coordinate purchasing to meet strict project schedules and timelines.
· Perform quantity take-offs and review subcontractor quotes for accuracy.
· Communicate with design teams and owners to develop and manage owner selection schedules to maintain project milestones
· Price owner selections/changes and ASIs.
· Oversee the procurement documentation process including purchase orders, subcontract agreements, invoices/inclusion in draws, and change orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Request, review and track submittals. Support field operations by working in conjunction with project manager, field superintendent and office staff to ensure they have all current information.

· Self-starter, multi-tasker, team player with a “can do” attitude.
· Knowledge/experience in purchasing or project management roles within residential or commercial construction.
· Ability to read and analyze drawings and plan specifications.
· Positive communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with project teams, owners, vendors and trades.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects to adhere to project timelines.
· Knowledge of Sage 100 desired.
· 5-10 years job experience are encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000 – 110,000/yr
