What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Perry County Memorial Hospital?
Education:Graduate of an AMA approved school in Nuclear Medicine Technology or have three years of clinical experience and be registry eligible. Must also be CNMTCB qualified.
License/Certifications:Graduate of an AMA approved school in Nuclear Medicine Technology or have three years of clinical experience and be registry eligible. Must also be CNMTCB qualified. Must be current in BLS.

Mental & Physical Effort:Close attention to detail of procedures, technique, positioning and contrast media side effects is required at all times. Ability to work unsupervised and capability for quick decision making. Demands lifting and transporting of patients, lifting of heavy film files (approx. 50 lbs) and moving mobile x-ray units. Requires ability to maneuver in close quarters and around equipment. Demands frequent or prolonged standing, sitting, stooping and bending. Requires normal (or corrected) vision and hearing for assessing film quality and telephone communication.
