SUMMARY
Design and develop specific product categories with the guidance of Senior Designer / Design Director
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Support the development of ladies sportswear appare l product lines.
- Research current and future trends for color, silhouette, fabric and trim.
- Keep up with fashion focused news, social media and other resources.
- Partner with Merchandising and Sourcing to ensure designs meet pricing and margin requirements.
- Attends design meetings and presents ideas and designs with guidance of manager.
- Contribute to product assortments through presentation boards and cads
- Designs new silhouettes.
- Draws silhouettes and illustrations in Illustrator.
- Responsible for communicating design details through accurate flat sketches
- Assists in fabric and trim development.
- Ensures all design assets are accurate and passed to Product Coordinator / Developer on time for PLM creation.
- Work with Technical Designers and Product Coordinator / Developer to ensure PLM packages are accurate and
complete.
