Job Summary
This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Food & Beverage Manager assists the Food and Beverage Director in coordinating, supervising and directing all property food and beverage operations, while maintaining a profitable F&B department and high quality products and service levels. He/she is expected to help market ideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.

Duties

  • Supervise daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
  • Oversee inventory management to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and service.
  • Lead, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and encourage professional growth.
  • Manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality service levels.
  • Employees must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
  • Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in the F&B department.
  • Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
  • Organize and conduct department meetings on a regular basis.
  • Monitor quality of service and product.
  • Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with SOP’s.
  • Ensure the training of department heads on SOP’s, report preparation, technical job tasks..
  • Interview candidates for front-of-house F&B positions and follow standards for hiring approvals.
  • Conduct and/or attend all required meetings, including pre-convention and post-convention meetings.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management within a hotel or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Experience in training development programs that enhance staff capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for hospitality that drives guest satisfaction.

  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
