What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker-Anticipated Opening 2024-2025 School Year (Permanent Sub) position at Perry Local Schools, Perry, OH?
- Be able to assist and work all positions within the Food Service Department including cooking, serving, food item prep, cashiering, and dish room following training
- Perform all duties associated with position assigned.
- Follow all Local, State and Federal Health Regulations
- Follow all safety regulations
- Assist with special functions for staff, students and guests.
- Understand USDA regulations for reimbursable meal requirements
- Complete all food service training
- Order and maintain inventory of assigned items
- Other duties as assigned
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Tolerate varying temperatures in coolers, freezers and dish room
- Tolerate fast-paced serving times
- Assist with special promotions for staff and students as well as assist with Special Functions including evening banquets
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must know current food safety regulations as well as current meal component requirements in order to accurately recognize reimbursable meals
