Job Overview
As the driving force behind fundraising efforts, the Fundraising Manager, working under the guidance of the CEO, plays a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability of an organization. Responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program, this role oversees all fundraising activities, manages relationships with donors, plans fundraising events,and seeks opportunities for financial support through grants, donations, and sponsorships.
This is a full-time salaried position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, matching 401k and generous paid time off plan. This is a hybrid role located in TN with occasional travel required.
Job Responsibilities
Develop fundraising strategies
Create innovative fundraising strategies and campaigns that align with the organization's goals
Manage donor relationships
Identify, develop, and retain donors through stewardship and relationship building
Ensure compliance
Ensure the organization complies with fundraising regulations, including donor privacy, tax, and charitable solicitation laws
Train staff
Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on fundraising best practices and emerging technologies
Coordinate with marketing
Work with the marketing team on communications to increase donor engagement and to update the website to optimize the customer and donor experience
Build partnerships
Research and identify potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities
Manage the CRM
Select, implement and maintain a Customer Relationship Management system
Analyze data
Use data visualization tools to present fundraising performance insights to stakeholders
Plan events
Collaborate with the CEO to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, or a related field

Experience in nonprofit fundraising with a proven history of securing unrestricted funding

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
