Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Responsible for visual inspection, labeling and packaging of final products to meet customer requirements.
- Review documentation accompanying final products for accuracy.
- Ensure finished product is packaging per processes in Persimmon’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Confirm all visible hardware are torqued per specifications.
- Capture photos of robot and upload into MES.
- Provide feedback and report on outofspec findings to Quality Management System.
- Proficiency in the use of basic mechanical handmeasuring tools including calipers, torque drivers and basic hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable using MS Office products, especially Excel, Word and Power point.
- Consistent and strong attention to detail is essential.
- Knowledge of lean and 5S methodology is required.
- Experience working inside a cleanroom.
- Using a hand and bench sealer to seal poly and foil bags.
- Vacuum sealing final products.
- Packaging large products and using hoists/lifts as necessary.
- Work is sedentary in nature, but may require standing, walking, grasping, and lifting/moving up to 30 pounds
- Associates degree in Engineering Technology preferred, but not required.
