Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Provide quality coverage and floor support for manufacturing, including inprocess inspections for sub assemblies and final quality inspection
- Help reduce manufacturingrelated OBQ (out of box quality) incidences through inline inspection and process improvements
- Validate that NCRs generated on the floor have accurate problem statement with marked up drawings; ensure nonconforming materials flow
- Enforce quality policies and good manufacturing practices, such as cleanroom protocol through monitoring, training, and encouragement
- Collaborate with other quality team members and cross functional teams on corrective actions, root cause investigations, and other continuous improvement activities
- Any other task or project assigned by direct supervisor or head of quality
- Upload data to customer portals
- May require flexibility to work overtime
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with an organization at all levels; being able to work collaboratively and professionally despite occasional disagreements
- Inspection utilizing a variety of techniques including visual inspection, conventional metrology (height gages, gage pins, thread gages, and dial indicators), calipers, micrometers, functional gages, etc.
- Comfortable with use of MS Office Suite of Products, especially Excel, Word and Power point
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast paced, diverse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment
- Experienced with use of technical drawings, following manufacturing work instructions and inspection procedures
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 or similar environment
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- Position requires work inside cleanroom most of the day following all cleanroom protocols
- Work requires standing, walking, bending, squatting, and kneeling; grasping, lifting, or moving up to 50 pounds; working on the computer sometime
