**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Persimmon Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and similar electromechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of the Manager of R&D to develop advanced control systems.
- Develop dynamic models, simulations in Matlab, and implementation of software on real-time platforms.
- Perform controls-related machine design analysis and selection of actuators, sensors, and other controls-related components.
Requirements
- M.S./Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- 0-1 year of work experience.
- Skilled in general mathematical modeling and analysis.
- Experience with trajectory optimization, linear or nonlinear systems, dynamic modeling, model predictive control, Lagrange multipliers, dynamics, and kinematics.
- Hands-on experience with control systems and tuning.
- Proficiency in using MATLAB for data analysis and data control simulation.
- Experience in C and C programming for Linux and embedded systems.
- Some experience in electronic circuit design, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
