Job Overview
Perso is seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in the restaurant. You will also assist running food and resetting tables when guests are not at the door. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position. Experience with RESY is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
• Assist guests with inquiries and requests, demonstrating exceptional guest relations skills.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Utilize Resy for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to help others are essential traits for this role.
