The starting salary will be determined with consideration given to both the candidate's educational background and relevant work experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per County policy.
This is a non-exempt position working 37.5 hours weekly/1950 hours annually.

Essential Functions
The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.
- Processes new applications and recertifications for nonemergency transportation services or continuation of services based on eligibility policy and guidelines.
- Processes application for the Low Income Energy Program and Crisis Intervention Program.
- Conducts interviews with clients, relatives and other contacts to obtain information to be incorporated into a social history.
- Refers individuals to specific programs or services for clients based on need and eligibility.
- Provides casework services and ensures client and/or family understands treatment plan; makes referrals, as required..
- Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution;
- Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience;
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Person County conducts pre-employment screening on candidates. Job offers are conditional pending the following:
