Job Summary
The Middle School Girls' Track Coach is responsible for developing and overseeing the girls' track program, focusing on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fostering a positive environment for student-athletes. The coach will organize and lead practices, training sessions, and meets while adhering to school and district policies. This position includes an athletic stipend.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Program Development :
Plan and implement effective practice sessions and training programs for girls' track and field events.
Ensure the safety and supervision of student-athletes during practices, meets, and transportation to events.
Promote sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork among athletes.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, eligibility, and student progress.
Uphold all district, conference, and state athletic regulations.
Represent the school positively at all meets and competitions.
Participate in pre-season and post-season meetings and evaluations.
