Position Overview

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Director of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) to oversee biomedical equipment management and drive operational excellence at their facility in Zanesville, OH. This role involves leading a high-performing team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leveraging innovative technologies to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring a blend of technical expertise, strong operational management skills, and the ability to collaborate with C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in healthcare technology services and a deep understanding of medical equipment management.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy Implementation: Develop and implement policies to ensure the delivery of high-quality biomedical equipment services.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to CIHQ, DNV, and JACHO standards.
• Technology Oversight: Manage the installation, maintenance, and cybersecurity of medical equipment, focusing on functionality and patient outcomes.
• Inventory Management: Ensure the accuracy of inventory records and optimize equipment lifecycles.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop team members to build a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to align goals and achieve client satisfaction.
• Project Management: Lead capital planning and operational initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, purchasing, and subcontractor agreements to meet fiscal objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• At least 5 years managing biomedical services in a large healthcare setting.
• Strong expertise in the maintenance and repair of clinical devices.
• Proven track record in managing healthcare technology services.
• Executive-level experience interacting with C-suite leaders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CIHQ, DNV, and JACHO compliance standards.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Business Acumen: Strong decision-making skills, especially in budget management and operational planning.
