Job Description
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the company’s IT systems and software. This is an onsite role requiring hands-on technical support and troubleshooting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install software on computers and laptops as needed, including implementing new software.
- Set up and configure laptops, printers, and computers, including software installations such as Microsoft Office Suite and Avionte.
- Provide user support for software-related technical issues and connectivity problems.
- Troubleshoot and report issues (hardware expertise is not required).
- Maintain communication with and report to the IT Systems Manager, located internationally.
- Operate 100% onsite in a manufacturing and office environment.
- 1-3 years of IT support experience.
- Comfortable working 100% onsite; this role is not remote.
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting and interacting with a diverse workforce, including blue- and grey-collar individuals.
- Strong autonomy and communication skills, especially when reporting to a remote manager.
- Resilience to handle a fast-paced and occasionally chaotic work environment.
- Ability to adapt to a busy workload, particularly during software transitions and periods of increased manufacturing activity.
