Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Caregivers will work in various settings, including group homes and private residences, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide patient care, including monitoring health conditions and reporting changes to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, which may involve heavy lifting.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily routines and social interactions.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of ADLs and the ability to assist clients effectively.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A background in social work or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.
