Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for in-taking and staffing all referrals received for services, staffing them with the best-fit provider and continuing to follow up until the case is approved. The ideal candidate will be very self-motivated and detail oriented. Must be able to handle a high volume of calls and emails and have excellent follow-up skills. Excellent computer skills and proficiency with various computer programs.
Duties
The goal of the Staffing Coordinator is to increase the number of services and increase the volume of overall cases.
- Staffing cases for ABA, SI, PT, OT, SW, ST
- Notify providers of available cases.
- Responsible for intake of cases from referral sources and placement of appropriate therapists on each case for NYC-5 boroughs.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with outside Service Coordinators to increase the number of referrals.
- Assign cases to therapists considering family schedule, dominant language of the family, and other relevant factors.
- Enter all referrals unable to staff.
- Follow up on cases pending approval.
- Re-staff all necessary cases within 2-3 days in order to avoid gaps in service.
- Continuously work on outreach to grow number of services started.
- Work closely with other departments such as Case Management.
- Prompt phone and/or e-mail follow up with outside Service Coordinators and in-house office personnel.
- Trouble shooting and analysis of staffing issues.
** Must be experienced in Early Intervention (EI).
