Part-Time Backup Caregiver Needed for Autistic 10-Year-Old
We are looking for a reliable and flexible backup caregiver to join our team and provide occasional support for our family. This role involves covering short-notice needs, including date nights, weekends, schedule gaps, flight delays, or caregiver absences.
To ensure familiarity and build a bond, we’d like you to have a regularly scheduled visit once a week (for an hour or two) with our bright, affectionate, and communicative 10-year-old son, who is autistic and very active. This will help him feel comfortable with you so that, when backup care is needed, the transition is smooth.
Our family travels frequently, and we have a teacher and two primary caregivers in place, but we need a dependable person to step in when necessary. The ideal candidate is responsible, patient, and able to be available on short notice when needed.

Requirements:
- Experience working with Autism or ADHD (doesn't have to be in a formal setting)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
