Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to an aging male family member in mid stages of dementia. The ideal candidate will have experience in needs of elderly care.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with our family regarding care plans and any changes in health status.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or observations to the appropriate family member.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields for elderly with various levels of dementia is preferred.
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with our loved one.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to pass background checks .
- CNA and/or CMA Certifications preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.73 - $17.44 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
