In-Person Aide For Student With Autism (M-F Afternoons and Evenings).
Our Tucson family is looking for a compassionate and dedicated person to assist with our affectionate and articulate 10-year-old son with Autism.
This role involves providing personalized support for 20-25 hours per week in the afternoons and evenings, including weekends.
As an aide, you will play a key role in supporting our son’s growth and development. He is highly engaged, expressive, and eager to connect, and we’re looking for someone who can foster his strengths while providing guidance in his day-to-day activities.
The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and resourceful, with a passion for working with children. Experience with behavior management strategies and creating a positive, structured environment is highly valued.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly autism
- CPR certification (can be obtained after hiring)
- Fingerprint clearance (can be obtained after hiring)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Requirements:
- Experience working with Autism or ADHD (doesn't have to be in a formal setting)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
