Job Overview:

We’re seeking safety & security professionals to support operations across New York City, including nightlife venues, workspaces, special events, community spaces, and protective assignments. Ideal candidates are physically fit, highly reliable, and committed to keeping people safe while upholding the integrity and values of PPC.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a calm, visible, and professional presence
• Conduct access control and crowd monitoring
• Support clients with risk management needs
• De-escalate conflicts and respond to incidents appropriately
• Report observations, concerns, and safety issues promptly
• Collaborate closely with PPC leadership and clients on-site

Requirements:

• Prior experience in security, military, or public safety preferred
• Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods
• Strong verbal communication and observation skills
• Available for evening, overnight, or weekend shifts as needed
• Must pass a background check
• NYS Security Guard License a plus, but not required for all roles
• U.S. military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply

Compensation:

$30–$55 per hour, based on assignment type, risk level, and experience.

Assignments may include nightlife safety, community events, private protective detail, and more. The pay reflects the nature and responsibility of each role.
