Pay : $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Job Summary : As an Eligibility Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring that clients meet the eligibility requirements for home care services. This is an entry-level position that offers an opportunity to develop skills in healthcare administration while working with a supportive team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer use, especially Excel, and be capable of managing client data effectively.

Job responsibilities

Verify and review client eligibility for home care services through various systems and databases.

Process and maintain client documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all necessary paperwork and eligibility requirements are met.

Assist with data entry, updating client records, and tracking eligibility statuses in Excel.

Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare providers to gather required information.

Resolve eligibility-related inquiries and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or some college coursework is a plus).

Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in an office setting or customer service is a plus, but not required.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and other related software.

Ability to work well within a team, sharing information and supporting colleagues as needed.

Ability to work with spreadsheets, manage large amounts of data, and use basic functions (e.g., formulas, sorting, filtering).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks; excellent time management skills.

Able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
