RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Operations:
- Provide oversight of clinical and administrative operations to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the agency maintains accreditation and licensure by staying current with all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, HR, and field staff to drive operational efficiency and high-quality patient outcomes.
- Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including patient satisfaction, staff productivity, and financial performance.
- Oversee clinical staff, including nurses, therapists, and home health aides, ensuring proper training, supervision, and adherence to best practices.
- Address patient concerns and complaints, working with teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement (CQI) through audits, case reviews, and outcome tracking.
- Ensure compliance with CMS (Medicare), and CHHA-specific regulations.
- Oversee state surveys, audits, and inspections, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Implement infection control measures, emergency preparedness plans, and staff competency programs.
- Maintain and update Policies and Procedures to align with best practices and regulatory changes.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain high-quality clinical and administrative staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages employee engagement and high performance.
- Work with the leadership team to develop strategic plans for business growth and expansion of services.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, optimize revenue streams, and control costs.
- Collaborate with the billing and finance departments to ensure accurate reimbursement and financial sustainability.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in New York State with at least 2-3 years of leadership experience in a CHHA or home healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CHHA regulations, NYSDOH, Medicare, and managed care policies.
- Proven leadership and team-building experience in a clinical and operational capacity.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience implementing and managing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Background in performance improvement initiatives and accreditation processes.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost containment.
Pay: $150,000.00-$165,000.00 per year
