Physical Therapist

Duties

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for conducting and supervising physical therapy programs to help patients achieve maximum physical performance and prevent disability. Key duties include:

• Providing direct treatment based on physician's orders.
• Evaluating patients and supervising therapy treatments by staff.
• Recording patient responses and adjusting treatment as needed.
• Communicating with healthcare teams and training families in rehabilitation techniques.
• Assisting in goal setting and home adaptations for patients.
• Offering in-service education to healthcare team members.
• Participating in clinical education for students.
  
  

Qualifications include a degree from an accredited physical therapy program and state licensure. Full-time position with benefits and a day shift schedule in Prestonsburg, KY.
