As a pharmacy sales professional, you’ll communicate our unique value proposition to people for whom medication management is a challenge. This position is base salary plus bonus and commission. Base pay is dependent on your prior sales experience. High performers have a solid opportunity to earn up to $80,000 total comp or more in the first year!

During the first few weeks, you will receive training on our system and our services.

Responsibilities And Duties

Our patient acquisition professionals are experienced sales professionals and self-starters who take great pride and ownership in their work and their success. You’ll report directly to the Sales Director and your primary responsibilities and duties include:

  • Be persistent in following up with patient leads/candidates (supplied by the company), and their advocate, who are juggling life events while considering a change of pharmacy
  • Be able to overcome obstacles presented by the potential patient
  • Build rapport with patient candidates and show compassion for the patients and their caregivers
  • Answering phones in a timely manner; collecting the required information and entering data into our proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Set and complete tasks related to follow-up work required to maintain contact and be of assistance to "patient candidates."
  • Send emails and texts, as appropriate and deemed by patient candidates as their “preferred method(s)" of contact
  • Communicate with team members about any issues that require input from other departments - such as pharmacists and technicians, billing and insurance specialists
  • Learn company policies and procedures and adhere to them
  • Follow all laws and regulations concerning patient privacy and every aspect of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)
  • Identify issues that require a new policy or procedure - and share with appropriate members of the management team
  • Enthusiastically partake in company meetings when asked
  • Be a team player -- remain aware that you work for a growing dynamic company, with changing and emerging priorities

Qualifications And Skills

  • Spanish language proficiency preferred
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience
  • Ability to show compassion and empathy when working with potential patients
  • Some College preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication required
  • Excellent written communication preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience inside and/or outside sales required
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system required
