We’re looking for an experienced, highly organized, and solutions-driven Drop-Off & Catering Logistics Managerto oversee the daily operations of our modern catering company in Union Square, NYC. As our Catering Logistics Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our catering operations, managing everything from delivery schedules, drivers, and vendor relations to event logistics, permits, and inventory. You’ll ensure every order is executed seamlessly, on time, and with top-tier quality, while also nurturing a high-performing operations team. 📍 Location: Union Square, NYC
💰 Salary: $75K-$80K Bonus, Healthcare, PTO
📆 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 4/5 PM (In-Person Required)

- Oversee daily kitchen facility operations and ensure smooth catering execution.
- Manage and lead a team of drivers and operations staff with efficiency and professionalism.
- Plan and optimize delivery schedules, routes, and last-minute adjustments as needed.
- Ensure deliveries are packed, loaded, and set up according to company standards.
- Proactively problem-solve delivery and logistical issues in real-time, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain product quality and ensure every order is delivered in perfect condition.
- Coordinate alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage orders and event setups when required.
- Oversee daily packing operations for drop-off catering and full-service events.
- Schedule and manage weekly shifts for operations staff.
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team of logistics and operations professionals.
- Lead by example, setting a positive and productive team culture.
- Conduct ongoing staff training, performance evaluations, and development programs.
- Handle staffing issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Maintain fleet management responsibilities, ensuring vehicles are clean, operational, and serviced regularly.
- Manage rental vehicle bookings and oversee delivery tech systems.
- Oversee kitchen facility maintenance and compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment at all times.
- Track and manage daily costs for production orders, beverages, staffing, and vehicle expenses.
- Work closely with ownership to analyze profitability and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain inventory of catering supplies, disposables, and event rental equipment.
- Ensure company assets and rental equipment are kept in excellent condition.
- Maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and health regulations.
- Oversee insurance policies, including workers' compensation, disability, and general liability.
- Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards to ensure an A-grade kitchen at all times.
What We’re Looking For
✅ 3 years of operational leadership experience in catering, hospitality, or logistics.
✅ A strong leader who can build, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
✅ Exceptional multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
✅ Deep knowledge of catering operations, food handling, and event logistics.
✅ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
✅ Experience managing budgets, inventory, and cost control.
✅ Valid NY State Driver’s License (Must be comfortable driving catering vans and box trucks).
✅ Ability to work early mornings and occasional weekends as needed.
✅ Fluent in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
