Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting our clinical staff, and providing excellent service to our patients and partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare administration, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow.
· Manage patient scheduling and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize appointment times.
· Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
· Process insurance verifications, authorizations, and billing support as needed.
· Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries, scheduling requests, and provider communications.
· Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and credentialing of new clinical staff.
· Track and order medical and office supplies to maintain inventory levels.
· Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
· Support management with special projects and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in an administrative or office management role, preferably in healthcare.
· Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
· Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
· Knowledge: Understanding of medical billing, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations.
· Attributes: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach.
