What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator of Misc. Metals – Direct hire position at Personnel People?
Responsibilities:
- Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate material and labor costs
- Estimate and process change orders
- Attending meetings with the general contractors and architect
- Identify and generate business
- Maintain customer relationships
- Assist the accounting department with monthly billing as needed
Qualifications:
- Experienced in estimating miscellaneous metal and light structural steel
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am – 3:30pm
The pay is up to $75K a year based on experience
