- Designing and developing industrial equipment, including pressure vessels and dynamic systems
- Conducting calculations and analyses to ensure that equipment meets ASME code requirements
- Developing technical specifications for projects and equipment components
- Collaborating with manufacturing personnel to optimize component or assembly designs for manufacturability
- Maintaining and updating engineering drawings and documentation
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a BSME degree and at least three years of experience in mechanical design and development. Key qualifications include:
- Experience with ASME Section VIII Division 1 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
- Exposure to pressure and/or thermal stress analysis
- Strong written, verbal, and graphical communication skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Draft Sight/AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as metal fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly
