**Job Summary**
We are looking for a skilled Metal Working Specialist to join our team at Personnel People. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate sheet metal parts using various techniques including shearing, notching, punching holes and bending sheet metal
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine sizes and production steps
- Perform quality control measurements to ensure high-quality products
- Receive project job travelers with details and drawings of required sheet metal pieces
- Create operation steps including calculating dimensions
- Experience working with 10' metal shear, brake press (Amada, Cincinnati), Panel Bender (Cidan, Roper Whitney) and CNC Hole Puncher
- Ability to read and understand tape measurements and gauges
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Experience in a job shop environment and basic manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches
- Experience working with 10' metal shear, brake press (Amada, Cincinnati), Panel Bender (Cidan, Roper Whitney) and CNC Hole Puncher
- Ability to read and understand tape measurements and gauges
Work Schedule:** Monday through Friday – First Shift
Salary: Up to $34.00 an hour
