Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an organized, goal-oriented Administrative Assistant to help our business run smoothly. The business environment is fast paced. Must be independent and willing to learn new programs or software. Will be working with Community Manager, Book-keeper, and Maintenance Technician. The environment is an apartment complex.
Responsibilities of Administrative Assistant
· Handle in coming calls and direct to appropriate destination.
· Scheduling, answering questions, recording tenant work orders.
· Process interim recertification or annual recertification.
· Process rental payments and assist Assistant Manager with bank deposits.
· Maintain Pest control program.
· Work with bookkeeper to make sure tenant damage charges are entered.
· Light EIV responsibilities (Verifications of Employment sent for EIV accounts and any follow-up needed with the employer).
· Other tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements of Administrative Assistant
· Must be able to
o Work assigned hours as scheduled
o Maintain confidentiality
o Complete tasks in a timely manner
o Assigned deadlines
o Self-starter and self-motivated
o Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Familiar with One-Site rental program
· Knowledge of section 8 affordable housing process and procedures.
· Able to move/drag/lift up to 40lb
· Frequently stand, sit, stoop, twist, bend or kneel.
Education or Experience
· High School Diploma
· Must have working knowledge of affordable housing programs: LIHTC, Section 8, HUD
Hours of Operation
· M-F, 8am to 5pm (One hour lunch break)
Pay rate: $19/hr.
Type: Temporary (Could go into permanent)
Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 8 per week
