Lead Materials Handler

· Monday- Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm

· Friday 8:00am-2:00pm

· $20 an hour

Duties

· Lead and manage the materials team.

· Schedule staff and provide necessary resources for success.

· Develop and implement departmental policies, guidelines, and tools.

· Monitor material performance metrics and collaborate with other plants to meet shipping goals while minimizing obsolete inventory.

· Resolve inventory discrepancies and improve processes.

· Address challenges in cross-training, inventory management, and communication between departments.

· Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and promote continuous improvement.

· Oversee safety responsibilities, including accident investigations, safety protocols, and daily safety initiatives.

Requirements

· 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in leadership or management roles.

· Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems, inventory control, and materials management.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel.

· Familiarity with project management software, like Trello.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to track metrics, address issues, and manage daily operations.

· Effective communication and leadership abilities with proven team management experience.

· Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform tasks involving climbing, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

· A valid driver’s license is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
