Accountant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and regulatory requirements, with a proven track record in public accounting and financial services. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements .
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist in the budgeting process by providing insights and forecasts based on financial data.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation records.
• Conduct thorough reviews of debits and credits to maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis efforts.
• Provide guidance on financial accounting practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the accounting industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting standards.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting techniques.
• Proficiency in financial accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
