Personnel Resources has a client with an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in Dothan, AL.
This position offers pay starting between $14.00 - $17.00 per hour and goes up from there based on experience. They will be working a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule!
Job Description & Requirements:
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measure work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece, using a file, wire brush or grinder.
- Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
- Assist machine operators in setting up machine.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Familiar with: Angle/Bar Line, Burn Table, Press Brake, Class C: Saw, Tag Machine, Laser operator.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds.
