Production Coordinator Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with department supervisors to establish lead times and meet shipping deadlines.
- Expedite operations to resolve delays and adjust schedules as needed.
- Prepare material, tool, and equipment lists; manage material requirements to minimize scrap.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding order status and issues.
- Modify production documentation to meet customer specifications.
- Generate and distribute shipping schedule reports, including express and late lists.
- Process change orders and special material authorizations.
- Procure materials at the best price, ensuring quality and meeting business requirements.
