Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician Scheduler to join our team and schedule maintenance on our forklifts, dock doors and minor automation!
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP management and have some CMMS experience. You will be scheduling maintenance on forklifts, dock doors and minor automation. This company uses Oracle as their CMMS, Oracle experience is a plus.
This is NOT a hands on Maintenance position. You won't be repairing machinery, just scheduling Technicians to do the repairs. 3-5 years of Maintenance Scheduling preferred. 1-2 years of Maintenance Technician experience preferred. SAP experience REQUIRED.
Responsibilities
- Schedule required maintenance on forklifts, dock doors and minor automation
- Place job orders in SAP and assign Maintenance Technicians
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to receive and respond to work orders
- Enter CMMS orders into SAP
- Determine if required maintenance needs to be outsourced to outside contractor
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance scheduling or a related field.
- SAP expereince is a MUST
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and guide team members effectively.
- Excellent command of English for effective communication with team members and customers.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documentation is essential.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure or in challenging situations.
