Key Responsibilities:
· Material Handling:
· Receive, unload, and store incoming raw plastic materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
· Accurately weigh and measure materials to prepare batches for injection molding machines.
· Load and unload plastic resin hoppers on molding machines, ensuring proper material feed.
· Monitor material inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
· Grind plastic to be recycled and mixed back into rotation
· Safety and Housekeeping:
· Follow all safety procedures related to material handling, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage bins and material handling equipment.
· Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
· Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of material usage, inventory levels, and production data.
· Generate reports on material consumption and potential issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Basic understanding of plastic injection molding processes and materials.
· Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scales.
· Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
· Attention to detail and ability to identify defects in materials and finished products.
