Job Title : Buyer

Location : Gaston County, North Carolina

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role :

Our client, a Food M anufacturer and global distributor located in Gaston County, NC, is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. The Buyer will play a key role in procurement, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisitions to support the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage procurement of raw materials, supplies, and services, ensuring timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels in line with company goals and supply chain best practices.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and business objectives.
• Utilize procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
• Travel 10-15% of the time as required.
