Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking candidates for a S mall Engine Repair Mechanic opportunity with our client in Shelby, NC . This temporary to permanent opening offers full-time 1st shift hours.
The Pay is $1 6 .00 / HR, and the benefits include Health insurance, Paid Time Off, Weekly Pay, and Bonuses.
Responsibilities include :
This role is ideal for a skilled mechanic with experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of small engines, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other power equipment. Our ideal candidate is customer-oriented and thrives in a collaborative, hands-on work environ ment.
- Diagnose and R epair : Identify issues and repair various small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and generators.
- Routine Maintenance : Perform tune-ups, part replacements, and preventative maintenance.
- Customer Assistance : Provide clear explanations of repair needs and recommendations to customers.
- Parts Management : Order necessary parts and maintain organized repair and parts records.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct quality checks to ensure safe and fully operational equipment.
- Customer Education : Offer basic operation and maintenance advice to customers.
- Workspace Maintenance : Keep a clean and organized repair area
