ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Monday - Friday
12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$14.82 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identify parts by catalog number, inspect for quality, and recognize defects
- Operate tapper, screwdriver, caton, staker, clamp assembly, assembly presses, side assembly machines, and meet department production requirements on each
- Make minor adjustments to machines as instructed by Supervisor or Setup personnel
- Perform all other Supervisor/Setup assigned duties
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to use simple math
- Good interpersonal skills (work well with others)
- Good manual dexterity (work well with your hands)
- Accurately complete time sheets and production reports
- Inspect completed work to maintain specified quality
- Check parts with various gauges, micrometers and testers
- Take appropriate action in the event of defective or sub-standard work
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly
- Must be able to lift and maneuver 40 pounds as needed
- Work overtime and change shifts with minimum notice
- Good safety, attendance, and performance records
