BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Monday – Friday
7:00 am – 3:00 pm
$17.90 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for routine repairs (i.e., sheetrock, concrete
- Maintains the building including painting, cleaning HVAC coils, changing assorted filters, etc.
- Responsible for cleanup and organization of areas throughout the plant.
- Performs both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Meets the requirements of HACCP, BRC, and FSMA.
- Practices and observes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are sanitary and orderly daily.
- Practices safe and secure environment, reporting to a supervisor any observed issues (i.e., food
- safety, physical safety, environment, equipment).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma/GED is required
- Experience working as building maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in building maintenance, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
- Food Manufacturing experience preferred
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience
- Ability to work from ladders of all heights
- Ability to climb roof access ladders
- Skilled at painting both indoors and outdoors in different environments
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to control inventory counts on materials used during maintenance task
- Able to stay organized, with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work alone on required task
